Site Star Rating app for iPhone and iPad

You can participate in Transpower’s substation rating system by using the Site Star Rating App. Only a valid Transpower or Service Provider email address is needed to register. Registration and login is only required for the first time use, provided you only intend to use the App on one device at a time.

The App is easy and intuitive to use, to rate any Transpower substation nationwide. You are allowed to give the substation you visit a rating once per day. If you find that particular issues you rated are solved on the day, come back the next day and repeat the rating.

Rating is based on a number of metrics in three categories:

Housekeeping
Station Assets
Facilities

Each category has a number of metrics which you can rate on a 1-to-5 star rating scale by sliding your finger from left to right. Watch as your selected ratings calculate the overall star rating of the substation. If a metric doesnt apply to the substation you are rating, you can choose to exclude it from the star rating by selecting the Not Applicable option.

All of your previous ratings are recorded and presented to you in order, so you can see what ratings you have previously scored a substation. You can also watch the leader board, and see whos on top.

Searching for the substation you are currently visiting is seamless. You can search either by full name, or by three letter code. Navigating to the substation profile page will display the substation’s existing rating, position on the national and regional leader board, the number of ratings it has, and provide easy access to contact details for the maintenance manager for that substation. Three month trends of the three categories ratings are visible for every substation.

Dont have cellular coverage at one of our remote substation sites? Weve got you covered. Offline ratings work as well, and are automatically uploaded once you’re back online.
